HIGH SCHOOL – Grades 9-12

Our High School Program is geared for a College Prep Diploma.  Students complete their core subjects as required by FACCS (Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools) and the State of Florida.  These core subjects include (but are not limited to) Bible, English, Foreign Language, Math, Science and Social Studies.  In addition every High School student at WHCS is able to choose an Academy or Major that gives them specialized training and instruction in one of five of the following areas:

Agricultural Academy

Computer Technology Academy

Creative Arts Academy

Leadership Academy

STEM

As a result of our partnership with Polk State College, Southeastern University and Warner University WHCS students who are in 11th and 12th grade have the opportunity to dual enroll.  Students must apply for dual enrollment and are subject to WHCS, Polk State College, Southeastern University and Warner University minimum requirements.  Click here to see the letter announcing our partnership with Warner.  Our agreement with Warner University was also featured in the News Chief – click here.

COLLEGE ENTRANCE ASSESSMENTS 

Students at Winter Haven Christian School are encouraged and prepared to take the PSAT/NMQST early in their Junior Year and either the SAT or ACT in their Junior or Senior Year.  The Educational Testing Service Code for WHCS is 102508.
